Grandmaster Tony Merafuentes has been training in the Martial Arts since he was 11 years old. He started training in the Japanese Okinawa form of Go Jo Ru with his Uncle. Then he began training in Kang Duk Won, where he attained his 3rd Degree Black Belt.  He is currently training under Grandmaster Sang Ho Lee in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido where Grandmaster Merafuentes has attained his 7th Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and his 6th Dan Black Belt in Hapkido. He is also the American Secretary General for the HuekChooKwan Black Eagle Hapkido Academy based out of South Korea. He has traveled around the world, including South Korea, China, Japan and Canada, attaining knowledge in the martial arts and sharing this knowledge with his students at his academy.
