Merafuentes Tae Kwon Do is very proud to have their very own competition team with members who travel to compete against other martial arts schools and academies. This team not only travels throughout Northern California to locations such as San Jose, San Francisco and Monterey, but also Nationally and Internationally throughout the United States and Canada. This team has a strong focus on learning Tae Kwon Do on a technical level, focusing on Traditional and Creative Poomsae, Weapons, Sparring and Board Breaking. The opportunity to compete against other academies allows our team members to quickly advance and learn skills normally reserved for higher level students.
